The rest of the plant seems to be doing well? What’s causing that one leaf to turn yellow? I mist the plant and soil when they look dry. This morning, I watered from bottom.

  1. 1) Don’t wait for it to look dry, and don’t spray it with water. Check the soil with your finger or a wood chopstick every couple days. When the top inch is dry, give it a good drink, not so it’s sopping, but so the soil is damp all the way through.

    2) Figure out what the humidity in the room is. You can get a cheap room thermometer that also measures humidity on Amazon. If it’s below 40%, get a humidifier and keep the humidity between 40-50%. Spritzing the leaves with water does not change the humidity.

    3) Light is important but I don’t know the light needs of this specific variety, so maybe someone else can help with that.

I’m betting getting the water and humidity sorted will make a big difference regardless of the light situation though.

use distilled water and bottom water.

That’s natural leaf death, it’s a bottom leaf. They will naturally shed older leaves over time as they grow new ones, it’s nothing g to worry about. 💚
