Hey hellooooo!
So Sunday my husband and me were at a plant shop looking around.
He and my sisters had planned it as a diversion for an early birthday party for me heh
My birthday is actually today the 13th of October.
I think the place was called beaver barn and its in Kennewick WA. It's a really nice plant place and if I could live there…… yes.
While we were walking around we got some cat grass for our kittens.
Then I saw 2 mature spiritus sanctis for $300!
He had never seen a plant for that much so he was shocked.
I told him I wouldn't ask him for a plant that expensive. I told him how the cost of rare plants go down add time goes and they are more available. So that is why I have a pink princess now that was only $20.
When we got to the cashier though….
They had more plant racks and I saw a beautiful white knight! Husband said no….. but I kept looking around.
They had these baby plants lower in the rack. When I picked this one up I just gasped when I saw the name and it was $25.
I showed him and only because he had seen the cost of the mature plant, he said yes to this one right away!
I didn't waste any time placing it with our other things we were buying. I told him no take backs he said yes already haha!
So now I'm gonna research and try to give this little spirit the best living conditions I can.
Any tips you can give please?
I have other plants that are mature and are in leca.
I will be leaving this one as it is for now…
I had placed it in the zip lock bag before leaving the store because I was worried about temperature shock.
It was cold and windy out doors and we were going to drive back to Seattle that day.

Definitely give it time to acclimate to ambient humidity, when I brought a medium sized one home and repotted it right away it threw a fit and aborted the new leaf, it’s recovered nicely now though and has a new leaf. You can see some ugly spots on the largest leaf, I think its a result of the harsh acclimation. Using fox farms ocean forest and perlite.

I’ll give you a tip that I just learned about them. Make sure the leaves are slanted enough to let water roll off them even if you have to prop the plant up, mine has a few damaged leaves because sitting flat on the edge of the pot made them sit horizontally and collect water. I just got mine too.
I hope you have a beautiful Birthday!
He needs to up his game 😂 jk very nice
What a wonderful gift! Happy birthday!
