Looks like crown of thorns, Euphorbia milii. If the stem has big fuck off thorns all over it, it’s crown of thorns.

The flower in the image is a Crown of Thorns, also known by its scientific name, Euphorbia milii. It is a woody, succulent shrub native to Madagascar.

My 10 year old will never forget what a crown of throwns is lol. It wasn’t funny at the time but now it’s hilarious to watch him run to the otherside of the nursery everytime he sees one. I told him not to touch anything.

Use caution with this plant. It’ll is incredibly beautiful but in addition to its thorns, I believe the sap from a cutting is corrosive.

Makes a great house plant if you don’t have anything that’ll mess with it.

My mother has two on a shaded back patio in Texas. One this color and another is salmon color. They have been blooming continuously for years.
