And then after we build a grill, we put on the concrete slab. We’re going to continue going up with more grill. So the more the water come out of the concrete is the more dry it’s going to get. So when it’s get dry, that’s when I’m going to pull out these bottles because I don’t want it to get hard with with you understand because if it get hard it’s going to be more difficult to take them out. So if you want to do a project like this guys, if you want to do a project like this, if you want to make concrete countertop, all right, or you want to make concrete build a concrete slab, you will depending on the size of the concrete slab. Depending on the size of the concrete slab, you might want to add a little steel inside. might be bassy wire. That’s depending on the size of the the concrete slab you. But a small concrete slab like this, you really don’t require much because at the end of the day, it’s going and it’s resting on the grill over there. That’s where it’s going to be resting. So, you don’t really need the steel inside of it. But depending on the project you’re doing, you going to definitely need some steel or bassy wire inside of it. All right. So by tomorrow this going to be fully dry. And we also want to do a live tomorrow either we’re going to be continuing the you know what we what we’re going to do before before we do the concrete top. What we’re going to do we going to continue building the grill. So, as soon as we finish the grill, we going to be doing a concrete countertop. And a concrete countertop, you can use it in your kitchen. You can also use it outdoors. All right. The way we build a concrete countertop, we build them that you can even use them indoors. If you’re using them indoors, there’s an epoxy that we also add on top of the concrete countertop. The epoxy, the one for indoors. There’s different type of epoxy, guys. So, if you’re doing an epoxy, you want to use the one for indoors. There’s one for outdoors that you don’t want to use indoors. So, you want to use the one for indoors, inside. When you put the epoxy on top of the concrete, what it does, it make it smooth. Not even water. So nothing can touch the concrete. It’s like a layer of protection. Outdoors, they do that outdoor as well. Like some people have the bath top and they have the big the big piece of wood. And what they do, they epoxy as well. And guys, we also going to do a video as well making butcher block from 2×4, which we have a video like that on our channel already, but we’re going to do one live for you guys to see live. A butcher back. This project will save you a lot of money because I’m going to tell you if you decide that you want to use granite. Say for instance you want to use granite on your countertop which this is granite. This is granite right here. And if you want to use that on your countertop, I guarantee you it might co depending on how big your countertop is, it might cost you like $5,000 depending on how big it is. Now I can do the same measurement countertop using concrete, framing it out, using concrete, putting epoxy on top of it, and I guarantee you it might cost you $300. If you feel the thing is the cement the the good thing about the cement the cement holds the brick together. Meaning this when you use the cement the cement hold the brick together and the cement it is seal up the holes from coming out. This one the cement ain’t hold anything together. What is happening? We just put it together. So say for instance you come out and you just feel like you want to cook something and you just gather some brick together and you say all right let me catch a fire. The brick is basically to protect the fire from spreading going anywhere. So this is like a protection in case the wind blow the brick can keep the fire it could keep the fire in this area instead of having it open out. If you have it open out, then the wind can blow it away. And guys, before you do this, please have water. Please have water in case anything goes out of control, you can just out it down. All right? Just like what I’m going to be showing you in a minute because this was just for a demonstration. And this one just for you guys to see. This is what’s going on here. But we you don’t need the fire pit again because you have this now. So you remove the fire pit and you could use this. So you have more space you could have. So might remove these flowers here. So we when we put on the slab, we’re going to come up with more brick to the side, to the back. So, we’re going to have it over right here. Sometimes. times depending on how you do it, you could end up with cracks. If the cement is too rich, sometimes you could end up with crack. So the way I do it here, I do it in a way in a form of doing it a certain way like do it in a certain texture. So the texture that I did is allow it to dry in very slow. It didn’t dry real fast because you the truth is sometime you want a cement to take its time and dry properly. Then after you dry it when you realize it dry you come and you wet it with water. You soak it with water. You allow the cement the slab to suck in the water. You wet it again. You wet it for a couple days. So that’s going to allow it to cure fast. And when it cure, it it draws in the water and it cure fast. So in those day ways, it’s hard to crack. It’s not going to crack that easy. You see, you really got to know to deal with cement sometimes. So I do it in that form that you see. I do it with a texture that is not going to dry in 2 minutes. Not really 2 minutes, you know, I’m just overexaggerating, but meaning not to dry too fast. It’s going to take its time and dries dries dries and then it’s going to dry properly. After you see it dry like tomorrow, tomorrow you could come tomorrow and you soak it with water. You, you know, you sprinkle the water on top of it. You leave it there. Allow it to soak again. You come back again when it dry. You soak it again. So this is this is this is stuff I do. I don’t know for other people guys. I know for myself. These is project I do. I know what I’m talking about. I know what I’m doing. And I don’t have problem with cracks and these type of things. All right. I don’t have those kind of problem. So maybe is the way people doing their stuff why they might see crack but I don’t have crack but you want to do your cement in a way that the cement could dry slowly. Don’t do it that is you know certain ways depending on what you’re doing you could do it like if you putting it in a post hole. Say for instance you’re doing a post hole. You dig in a po a hole and you dig in the post hole. What you can do? You could put the cement real not too soft. You could make it a little hard, you know, stiff. But when you’re dealing with these type of things, you want it to dry properly slowly, not quick. So what you do, you give it that amount of water that’s going to allow it to dry slowly. You see from the time I do this, it’s still in dry. It’s still drying slowly. So when you come tomorrow, you w you soak it with water and it’s going to suck in the water. Then you soak it again with water. Then it’s going to suck on the water. That going to make it start curing fast. Once it cure, once it cure, you don’t get that kind of situation. So the holes them is for the heat to come through when we baking.
