This is my first time planting coleus on the front of my house in my big plant pots and I would 100% do it again. These are amazing plants and they get a lot of nice comments as well. I even had somebody stop by and ask if they could have some cuttings! Of course I gave them some. Share the love! I took some cuttings and I’m propagating them so that I can grow them indoors and replant them in the spring. If anybody knows the names of these coleus, I would superduper appreciate it.

Your coleus is gorgeous. Good job.
much appreciated
Wow! That is GORGEOUS!
Wow!!! Great job!
I let mine go to flower this year because where I have them, thw hummingbirds and butterflies love them. But I might prop some.
The first one is something I’ve never seen before! Would you mind sharing the name of that variety?
I was going to ask if it’s possible to grow them indoors for the winter?
So pretty, good job!
I am going to attempt to take them inside and keep them alive
They’re easy to overwinter and propagate. Give it a try.
Why not bring them in? They thrive indoors as well! They make great houseplants.
Looks like c. ‘Lava Rose’
Coleus are one of my favorites! I am hoping to plant them again next year. I think I still have seeds from my last ones, nearly five years ago now. I used to bring them indoors 🙂
I water prop mine and move the potted ones back to our main residence for the winter. They have to be covered when it gets light frost stage though. I move my plants, like the angel trumpet trees and Devil’s trumpet’s, back and forth from our homes so they can stay outside all year round. I love the devil trumpet flowers! You can see them on my page if you want to take a look.
Pretty sure the first pic is Lava Rose. The second one could be Wicked Witch or Limewire. The third one is probably Watermelon.
That‘s so beautiful!!! Coleus is widely underrated in my opinion!
