Thanks for being here. Let’s grow something beautiful together.
Welcome to Nola Farms. Today I’m taking you on a quick walk through the garden to check on carrots, lavender, and everything that’s still growing before the next big project. Back in the building, well, there’s nothing really going on in the garden, but I’m going to make this video for you guys because I know you guys want to see me walking in the garden and checking on all of my things. That’s what you have to do as a gardener is constantly check on your things once, twice a day. That’s why I make sure that my stuff is right near the door. I just walk out and I can check on it. I planted some carrots right here and I made sure to just do one to two seeds per little pocket right here cuz last time I sprinkled a handful of seeds and there was a like a million tiny carrots up in here and I never thinned them out and nothing ever everything grew but it was tiny as in one of my older videos. Um so I have looks like two carrots right here. I have I can never tell like what is a carrot. Looks like there’s more than two here. So I have one, two, this looks like three. So I’m going to pull this out. I don’t even know what that is. I’ll pull this one out. So these two out so I can have some space. I have one here. Can’t tell if these are separate carrots. Is this a separate carrot? Going pull it and see. Did I put down I only put two seeds down. So I don’t understand. Like I did two one to two seeds. So how do I get all plants have bounced back and they look healthier after cutting off all the dead foliage. Here’s something right here. Probably won’t get any more fruit. I don’t know cuz everything keeps surprising me. They look really pretty and better now. All green. Cut off all the runners. I can’t believe this lavender plant is still in here like alive and smelling good. It look like it’s I need to cut it back or something. So, I probably going to do that now since you can see what I’m doing. I’m just going to cut off these sides over here that’s like hanging off the side. Probably can’t see what I’m doing. There you go. So, I cleaned it up just a little bit. Cut all these off and so it’s not all sticking out the side. I probably need to cut There’s some if I could get it. These tomatoes are holding on to me right there. I don’t know why the chicken’s making all that noise. So, it looks a little bit cleaner. any butterflies in the garden. It’s like six of them out here right now. I don’t know if they laying eggs or what. Let them get a little bit more light and throw this in there. So, I’ll be quiet. Some lavender to calm them down. That’s not what I wanted. I’ll give them some of these radishes. Maybe I’m finally getting some flowers it looks like for the plant that I want to keep the seeds for. But I bet it’s going to be a while before I can harvest those. But I have a bunch of them and they’re just popping up now. It’s taking a while to get some. And this is the part of the secret garden situation that I don’t like. This is going to be another project where I’m going have to pull out all these. The things that I’m waiting for is a lot of soil. So, I’m going to be stocking up on that. And I can’t really do any projects until I get that. So, y’all stick with me. Make sure you subscribe because I have a million projects to do. I just don’t have the soil to do it. But, I have so many things to do right now. And I have a couple more green stocks coming. So, look out for that. It’s different colors. I think I told you in the last video I got two black ones and where I’m going to do it in. I believe this is the eanisha and this is one. So I only had two that came up. I think this is a weed. Let me just pull it out of here. I think that’s a weed. And I don’t know what this is but I don’t want to pull it up. And there’s something else that’s growing and I don’t know what these two are. But I think this is eanisha and this is echanisha. So I only got two to come up to germinate. I don’t know if the other seeds in here. Do something later. I doubt it. It was a old pack of seeds. I have to order some more cuz I really want this whole bed to be eisha for next spring. In my next video, I’m going to propagate this fig tree right here. I went to a farm yesterday and look how big this spiderweb has gotten since I went to farm yesterday and they had propagated a whole bunch of fig trees. And I asked the guy and he said it’s pretty easy. You basically just cut off a stem somewhere. You want to get one that has leaves. It could be anywhere. One that’s coming out or one that’s going up. And what I think I’m going to do is cut two of them off. So I’ll probably get one from down here and one from up here and try to propagate it and see what happens. I get two more fig trees. I was planning on buying fig trees, but a fig tree is supposed to be like the easiest thing that you could propagate. So, if I could propagate strawberries, which my strawberries didn’t do so good because I did it when the weather wasn’t so good. I’ll show you the process of what I do and then I’ll show you the end results if anything comes of it if I do it right. That’s the next video right here. But for now, we’ll just say goodbye and I’ll see you in the next one tomorrow. Subscribe down below or there’s a button somewhere with my face cartoon character person. Go ahead and subscribe. I’ll see you tomorrow. I post every single day. be here. I’ll be here. And leave a comment down below so I know that you’re here. But we’ll say goodbye to this plan. Byebye.
