The Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University is opening its gates to the community for its highly anticipated annual Fall Plant Sale. With over 250 varieties of plants available, from native species to landscaping favorites, there’s something for every gardener.

The Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University (1503 Bland Avenue) invites the community to its annual Fall Plant Sale, showcasing more than 250 varieties of plants perfect for every garden and home.

From native and heirloom selections to landscaping favorites, edible plants, houseplants, and seasonal annual color, the sale offers something for every level of gardener.

This year, the Garden highlights a special section devoted to deer-resistant plants, helping homeowners and landscapers find beautiful solutions to one of the most common challenges in the fall season.

Sale Dates & Times:


Saturday, October 25 | 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.



Sunday, October 26 | 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.


Shoppers are encouraged to bring wagons for easy transport of their purchases.

Overflow parking will be available at Pittman Park Church (1102 Fair Road) and East Georgia Pediatrics (450 Georgia Avenue), with convenient access to the Garden.  A shuttle will be available as needed.

“The Plant Sales are one of our most anticipated events of the year,” said Todd Beasley, Director of the Botanic Garden. “It’s a chance for the community to explore a diverse collection of plants, support the Garden, and take home living pieces of the season.  We strive to offer many selections not commonly available.”

Proceeds from the sale support the Garden’s mission of education, conservation, and community engagement.
