SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A vegan twist on Oktoberfest took over Harvey’s Garden this weekend for Vegtoberfest, a celebration of plant-powered food, local vendors, and community giving.
The event ran Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m., featuring live music, games, craft vendors, and plenty of vegan eats for attendees to enjoy.
Proceeds from Vegtoberfest will benefit Briarwood Farm Sanctuary in Weedsport, helping provide food, veterinary care, and medications for rescued animals.
Organizers say the festival aims to bring together local residents to celebrate compassion, sustainability, and good food — all while supporting a meaningful cause.
