Shaken, stirred, and straight from the garden. 🥂 Make your cocktails or mocktails unforgettable with fresh herbs within reach. 🪴 Cheers to homegrown drinks. 🍹
Here is everything you need for your next happy hour. I have six herbs I can recommend to you that’s super easy to grow and absolutely delicious for sprucing up your drinks. So, I’m going to fill up my pot with perpy potting mix. I want to leave about an inch of space at the top. I’m going to start with some stevia. This variety is called Sweetly. I love adding this to my drinks because it’s a nice natural alternative to processed sugars. And I’m going to put this one right in the middle of my pot cuz it’s going to grow the tallest out of all the herbs I’m using today. Next, I’m going to add arp rosemary. I love pulling little sprigs off of this for my cocktails. It makes them look fancier than they are. Next, we have basil over here. I’m going to use genevese cuz it has a nice sweet flavor. And just like the stevia, you can muddle these up in the bottom of your drink or you can add them on top as a garnish. I’m going to go ahead and plant this guy on the other side, keeping the height that these plants are going to grow to in mind. This plant smells like candy to me. This is called lemon verbina. Absolutely delicious for adding a lemony flavor to any drink. Next, I have my mojito mint. This is, of course, perfect for your mojitos. And I’m going to plant this one on the edge of the pot because this will start to actually trail over the side and create a cascading effect. And lastly, I have another mint because I love mint. And this is pineapple mint. It actually smells a little bit like pineapple and has a really fruity scent. So, I highly recommend trying this if you like anything that is sweet or fruity for your summertime cocktails. And once again, I’m going to put this guy on the side cuz he’s going to cascade over the edge as well. We hope this gave you some ideas for your own cocktail container to enjoy in your drinks this summer. Cheers.
