How to Get Poison Apple in Grow a Garden
Poison Apple is a limited-time seed added in the Ghoul Garden Update. You’ll need to participate in the Ghoul Garden event for a chance at getting this Prismatic seed. Once per hour, the Halloween Market will open for 15 minutes.
During this window, you can buy event seeds from the Spooky Seeds Stall near the center of the island. This is where the ghost version of Sam, named Sam-etery, is. However, instead of spending Sheckles, you’ll need to buy the Poison Apple with Candy Corn.
As explained in our Ghoul Garden guide, which gives an overview of the event, you can get Candy Corn from the Witch and Jack-o-Lantern NPCs. The Poison Apple costs 140 Candy Corn to buy. And of course, it still has to be in stock like any other seed or item in Grow a Garden. Since the Halloween Market is only available once per hour and there isn’t a way to restock the stall, this can make it tough to get.
The nice thing about this seed is that it’s a multi-harvest plant. Once you have it, you can keep it in your garden for as long as you like and continue to pick from it to sell. However, you won’t be able to get seeds from Lucky Harvests since this plant isn’t in the Seed Shop.
Similarly, since Poison Apple is an event seed, you can’t rely on pets with special abilities to get them for you. Such as the Red Fox, which can duplicate certain seeds from other players’ gardens. Dogs won’t work either, since the random seeds they can dig up don’t include event seeds.
