New Gardeners Invited to Join the Two Rivers Community Garden

The Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department is extending an invitation to gardeners looking for a spot to grow their plants next year.

The department has shared that applications are now available at the Two Rivers Community Garden for the 2026 season.

While the invite is open to all who are interested, even seasoned gardeners, new gardeners looking to get started are highly encouraged to apply.

Garden beds measure 3 feet by 20 feet and will cost $10 per plot, with a maximum of three plots available per gardener.

The Parks and Rec Department will offer resources such as water, tools, mulch, and manure to ensure that each garden is cultivated successfully.

It is also fenced in to protect crops from common critters.

The Community Garden is a space dedicated to organic practices that also serves as a way to enjoy the outdoors and connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts.

A preference on applications will be given to Two Rivers residents first; however, anyone is welcome to apply.

Anyone looking to get more information on the Two Rivers Community Garden or looking to apply for a plot can do so by contacting Ashley Hagerty at ashhag@two-rivers.org or by calling 920-793-5992.
