I had a nice jar with some worms and snails when one day i noticed the something BIG moving in the substrate. I tossed some blackworms from my culture just to see what would happen and it immediately attacked and eat the blackworms what is this wonderful creature a spider of some sort? I have a mix of fascination and fear with this thing lol was found in cali sac area Thanks

Looks like some sort of crab or crustacean.. would love to see some more footage of it
It’s clearly a Mudcrab.
Can’t see enough to ID. My first guess was dragonfly larvae fighting desperately for survival. But I’d need more footage to properly ID it.
That jar needs aquatic plants or it won’t work.
