All right, welcome back to Nola Farms. Come with me as we do garden plans and a big quail surprise. All right, we got it cleaned up just a little bit. Still had to pick up a couple things. I need to get rid of this black cord that’s right here cuz I’m not using it. And those little yellow things that went on the bins need to go. I need to find a place for this rug. This is where that caterpillar thing was. It’s It looks like it’s decomposing or something. I need to find a home for that. I moved all the green stocks over here. I found after I moved the rug, there’s a bunch of ants right here. It’s gonna rain today. You can still see the ant. It’s gonna rain today, so all that powder is gonna get washed away and I’m gonna have to do it all over again. Gonna grab it and spray the ones that I can see. I don’t even know if this diet to matrix earth does anything to them cuz how y’all still walking around? They’re all up in here. So, I’m thinking they have like a bed that’s like they’ve made a bed right here. But the rain is coming. So, I’m just going to have to do this again tomorrow cuz it’s going to get washed away. But I wanted to get rid of the ants that I can see right now. They’re everywhere. They’re all in here. They’re probably just underneath all of this wood chips that’s down here, I’m guessing. Look, they’re just walking around with the powder on them. I need to research if this diet tomatous or if it does anything for ants. They just living their best life. So, basically, we moved everything over here. I’m probably going to have to refix this. This needs to be cleaned out. I’ll do that tomorrow. A lot of this needs to be cut out of here cuz it’s not getting any ventilation. Like stuff like this needs to be pulled off. Like it’s just too crowded up in here. All these leaves and stuff that’s brown. So what I’ll do cuz it’s on these wheels so I can turn it and I don’t have to move it to get to the other side. I can just turn it to get there. Tomorrow we’ll clean this out. I don’t think this really needs to be cleaned out but we’ll clean this out right here. I keep seeing where my tomatoes are getting eaten up and but I can’t see anything in here cuz I think whatever is eating it is green. Is this thing tipping? What? Feel like it was tipping over. I found three tomatoes. One one here and one here. I pulled them off so that I wouldn’t so I would know if something else is eating it. If I find another one with a hole in it, then I will know. I found the two and then I found the one the next day. So, it’s something that’s still on here or something that’s landing on it eating it. What I’ve been trying to do is just pull off the biggest tomatoes I see. That one’s not a big tomato. pull off the biggest ones I see just to have a chance at possibly eating it. This is all squishy. I don’t think that’s a good one. Seeing is when you’re collecting these pods for the seeds for this plant, you want to look for where it’s turning yellow and then you can find a lot of them in there. So like you see all these yellow spots right here. I found the majority of these right here and then there’s yellowing down there. There’s a lot of ones that’s turning brown and about to dry out. And there’s all this yellow one right here. I found a lot of them. Here’s one right here that probably don’t have that many seeds in it, but it’s ready. And I’m just pulling the whole thing off. This is rosemary down here that’s all brown. And what I’m going to have to do with these is cut them all the way down. That’s going to be in tomorrow’s video. We’re going to cut these down. And that one right there will get cut down. The lemon tree is thriving. I harvested a lot of the okra right here. There’s one left. There’s probably some more that’ll probably grow. The peach tree is looking okay. I guess it’s looking like it’s going through a little bit of something. And all the leaves on here are turning getting those red spots. It’s starting to migrate to the bottom. So, I don’t know what to do. I can’t pull all the leaves off of there. We have a little spider. I’m going to cut all of these down. I don’t even know what these are. I think this is basil. And this is lavender. I’ll probably cut these down as rosemary. And I’ve been trying to collect seeds from these salvia cuz I wanted to plant it in the front. But I’ve been letting the bees do what they do. Let’s go check on the egonia. See if we have any more sprouting. Egonia. I think I need to cut this down. This is the blackberries. And I’m thinking I might need to move these from this bag to probably this right here. I was going to try to grow potatoes, but I might put the potatoes in these small bags and move these. I think this was a blackberry, like a thornless blackberryish situation. I’m not sure what this one was. I guess this is a blackberry, too, or a blueberry. But I’ll probably move that one over there so I can have a better chance. There’s a lot we’re going to do tomorrow. Let’s get over to the E. I don’t know what this is cuz this is Egonisha, right? I’m thinking this is Egonisha. And this looks similar. That’s probably Ekisha. And this is super green. And I don’t know what that is. Let me see if I can smell it and maybe see what it is. Doesn’t smell like anything. I don’t know what that is, but you can stay there for now. Oh, look. So, we have one, two, Oh, the bees. And three. Shoot. So, looks like we had three come up. I don’t see anymore. Move the chickens today from this spot right here. And I don’t know what happens to the dirt. Like, they work this crazy. Look at this. If you ever want something to work the ground for you, you about to plant something. Get some chickens for real. Cuz this soil is so like this is clay soil. Georgia clay and it’s like sand so I could probably plant whatever I want in it. And then I have these beans growing up right here. Looks like two of them. Probably need to water that up. And we have some more. Here’s one right here. They acting crazy. They think I have something. I don’t have anything. I gave y’all all the things this morning. Here’s another one. Look like it’s losing its way. Let me help you. I don’t know what’s wrong with the I don’t know how to get it to stay. Hold on. String to hold it up so it knows to grow up this way. And then I might cut the string down. I think this one may stay where it is. Hopefully it’ll keep going up. And hopefully this one stay up. It’s Oh, it looks so healthy. Like I hope nothing comes and attacks. It looks really healthy and pretty. I have two right here. Looks like they found their way. And I have one right here that’s a little small, but Oh, it’s a spider web attached to it. And there’s two right here are looking really healthy. This one is attached. And then I’ll have to push that one over there. Acting crazy. I’ve given you guys treat all kind of goodness. All the green, all the berries, all the worms. What is happening? What y’all need now? And we have this covered up so that when it starts raining that hopefully the rain won’t come in here. Hello. Anything you touch like they have grass in there. If I pick up this grass and give it to them, they’re like, “This is spitter grass. This grass is better.” Hello little friends. Hello little friends. Y’all want these? Hello little friends. Chickens are doing good. Um I think I might with the quail. We might have two male quail. It looks like two of them have that bronze on their chest. So that’s not what I want. We can go and check on them and see and I’ll show you. And then I started picking them up and it look like two of them have the bronze chest. So I think it’s two girls and two boys, which is not the ratio that you want. See if we have any flowers. Yep. Right here. Need to be picked off. It’s every day that there’s it’s flowering cuz this has been here for a while now and it’s probably ready to go to seed. But if I keep pulling these little seed pod flower things off, then it should stay. If you leave them, then it starts getting woody and it turns into like a tree and then that’s it. And then it doesn’t taste the same either. And I’m just throwing it over here, hoping that the seeds will go back into the ground. I’ll have basil for the next season is the plan. I’m trying to save as much as possible with the seeds I’ve been collecting. and all the seeds that I could find so I don’t have to cuz it’s kind of stressful sometimes when you what is this? It’s kind of stressful when you need to plant something and you don’t have the seeds for it and then you have to wait get the money number one to order the seeds then you have to wait for the seeds to come. So I’m trying to harvest as many seeds as I can maybe start some stuff on the inside so that I can have my garden earlier cuz I feel like everything started blooming towards the end because I had to wait. All right, looks like everything is starting to go to seed. I do not want to grow these again cuz those things like to poke it and suck out all the juices out of it and it looks gross to me. These I do want to grow again. So, I’m trying I’m going to take these off. I’m thinking the seeds are in here. So, I’m just going to pop these off. And these are Oh, shoot. I didn’t pulled the whole thing out the ground. I forgot what these are. I don’t know if it was Cosmos or something. I feel like the whole thing about to fall out now cuz I didn’t ripped it. It’s sinking. It’s sinking. But hopefully there are seeds in here. And I’ll get those. That’s probably gonna get blown over now that I didn’t pull the thing out. This is where I really want. But I don’t see any flowers on it. I don’t know where the seed is. The seed in here. I guess the flower is going to bloom. Hopefully, it’ll have enough time to do that. These are huge. It’s like a um it’s like what’s it called? Like a sunflower. The stock. I did not like these. What I’m hoping I can do, I’m going to pull all of these things out of here and I’m hoping I can set the chickens in here and let them work this for me. All the little other things are coming up. Oh, it’s so furry. Oh, I like that. Love the way it feels. I don’t know what this one is that we planted. I like it was something that didn’t need sun or something like that. We have labels in here, but let me see what it said. Rocky. So, this might be the Rocky ones. I love the way it feels. It was the mixture that was called Rocky from the I don’t know what this is. Maybe this is the Rocky ones. I really like it. It’s pretty. And the leaves are furry. That’s so cute. But I’m going to let the chickens I believe I’m going to pull all this stuff out of here and I’ll let them work this. Like I’ll put the little individual cage looking thing over here and they’ll just work this up for me and get it all ready. I don’t want them to get to this. So I’ll probably turn it sideways so they can do it this way. Okay. And I want to get all this grass and stuff that’s up against the fence that’s hard to get. These are cute. Itty bitty. It’s really low cuz I think I just put a little bit of soil on top just so I could start something. As you can see, you can look right here. The soil should be up here. That’s going to be about I don’t know how many bags of soil. That’s what’s going to cost me next season is the soil for here. You can see that bed right there. If you look, all of this should be soil. This one is pretty full. So, that one should be fine. So, I have to fill this whole bed up with soil. And let’s see what else to fill this up with soil. This will probably be about four bag of soil. Just this right here, cuz it needs to be up to the top. I want to replenish this with soil again. So, that’s about six or eight bags of soil right there. With these, I’m not going to do like the expensive soil. And with the bed back there, I’m not going to do the 30 lb the $30 like bag of soil. I’m going to use whatever the cheapest thing is that don’t have additives and all that stuff in it. Stock will need to get topped off. This one needs to get full. So, I need about probably four bags for this. Probably two bags to top this off. This needs to be topped off cuz it should be full all the way to the top. So, should this one and that one. This one will probably need to get topped off. And that fig one is super low. If you can see it, it should be full all the way to the top there. So, should this bag. And a lot of the bags need to be topped off. I’m planning on getting two black green stocks. Uh, I I said in a later video and this video is going to come out later and the sale and all that stuff is probably going to be over, but the green stocks, they’re coming out with all the colors like I said before and I’ve been wanting the black ones for like 2 years or more and they’re coming back with it. And I think they’re doing a 60% off for that. So, my plan is to get two black green socks and to put them probably right here. I would like to get some more of these black mattes and push it all the way out there cuz it’ll be easier if I have like the ant problem like I’m having now to just lift up the pallets and put the powder underneath it. So, I would like to get these were kind of expensive. I got them from Lowe’s, but I would like to put them out here. So, I would probably need like 24 more of those if they still have them cuz sometimes you find something at Lowe’s and you like it and they don’t do it. So, I probably need 24 more of these to fill this space out. And there will be two black green stocks right here is the plan. I’ll let you know if I’m able to get them or not. I’m trying to save the money up so that I can do that. And then if I get the two black green stocks, I’ll probably get I would like to just get two layers of it because it’s super easy to move this one. But probably like for aesthetic purposes, probably a four stack at least four stack. Let me see what the blue one is. The blue one is a three. So maybe three. Three layers. And that’s going to take like probably four or five bags of soil. So probably 10 bags for the two black green stocks that I get. So those are the future plans. But tomorrow, we’re going to clean this out. We’re going to cut down the rosemary. We have to keep on clipping the basil. I really want to pull this corn out right here because I don’t think it’s serving a purpose except for if I want to powder it for the stuff to land on and die. But I think it’s just taking up room. So, I think I’m going to pull these up and I might plant some more beans in here. They’re doing really good since I put the powder on them. Usually, these will be all messed up really bad. I still see ants crawling on it, but for some reason, they’re not attacking the beans like they usually do. And I have a lot of them on here. So, I’ll probably plant more of these crowder peas right here. And this needs to get cleaned out, too. The morning glory. This at least the brown foliage cuz I’m still getting flowers that’s popping up, but it looks really bad. So, anything brown, I’m probably going to pull it out or cut it down. All right, time to check on the quill. The crazy quill. Hey, I think we have boys. I’m just going to catch them and let y’all see what they look if I can get it. It’s so crazy. Here’s one. I can’t see what I’m doing. There’s one over here. Um, yeah. Okay. Here’s one. This is a girl. White chest. This is I don’t know cuz it’s the chest is kind of the chest is kind of brim. Did I get you already? This is a girl. This is I guess a girl. Come here, Cookie. Look, orange chest. And then there’s another one with an orange chest. I just saw it. It’s back here. Orange chest number two. So, it’s two boys, I think. And I need to mark them cuz we can’t have two boys in here. So, one, two, three, four. Where’s the fifth? Is it over here? I can’t see what I’m doing. They’re all over here in the So, let me see if I could point it out to you. This is a girl. Jump up. I think that’s a boy right here in this corner. And Oh, can you go the corner, please? We’re not escaping. Right here. This is a boy, I believe. Hello little friend. Are you a boy? Are you a girl? I think that’s a girl. The boy is smaller actually. But I think it’s two boys in here. I’ll go ahead and leave them alone cuz they acting crazy. But they always do their food. Does any more food? I switched them over to this. I think I already told y’all that. Quick, let me So, we got two boys. One, two, one, two, three, four, five. We’ll see what we going to do about
