This is like the fourth leaf to die!! My roommate broke its old pot so this is a make-shift and there’s no draining holes so that might be the problem. But- it was struggle even before all that so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’m getting a new pot for it tomorrow.

I water it pretty rarely and I’ve tried both direct and indirect sunlight.

More light (preferably sun), water when it gets floppy, fertilize heavily and regularly.

I give mine half of what the bottle (generic all-purpose) recommends every waterig. This way the plant will have more than 3 leaves at a time

Try chunkier/faster draining soil that has bark, perlite pumice etc and give it 4 weeks to respond. Also remove any brown roots.
