Christmas cactus or Thanksgiving cactus?


It’s embarrassing, I had this cactus for over 20 years, there’s no other plant I have neglected more but every year it’s flowering like crazy.
Which cactus is that please?

    Thanksgiving, from the looks of it….although I did spot a single end section that made me wonder.

    Overall, looks like a ‘turkey day’ cactus 😁

    thanksgiving cacti have sharp edges, christmas cacti have rounded edges, and easter cacti have even rounder less defined edges 🤙

    Schlumbergera truncata hybrid, so as others have noted, Thanksgiving! She has lovely blooms!

    Thanks so much everyone! I was looking around the internet to find out what type of cactus it is but found it very confusing.
    Anyway, I will stop neglecting this plant.
    To my shame I have to admit the cactus is sitting in Miracle Grow houseplant compost and I haven’t repotted in years.
