Although Bents also has a truly spectacular Halloween season, Christmas starts in early October, with the transformation being unveiled on Wednesday 8 October this year. With the festive fun comes later opening times so everyone can get their festive fill at Bents – open until 9pm Monday to Friday and 8pm on Saturdays during the festive season.

From twinkling lights to cosy décor, the carefully curated selection of Christmas essentials at Bents Garden Centre is sure to fill you to the brim with festive warmth. Whether you’re searching for elegant baubles, charming wreaths, or luxurious stockings, the Bents collection is designed with meticulous attention to detail and a touch of holiday magic.

Although Bents is first and foremost a garden centre – with Christmas trees appropriately available – there’s so much more to this gem. The Christmas period lasts for over two months at Bents, and the staff are as excited as the customers who wait patiently for it every year.
With a huge selection of decorations, candles, plants, homeware and all sorts of Christmas goodies, you really have no choice but to spend literal hours enveloped in the cosy surroundings, perusing each department carefully. Baubles and ornaments sparkle and shine, Father Christmas, reindeer and snowman figurines bring a whimsical flare, and the scent of pine and cinnamon fills the air with spicy comfort at Bents Garden Centre this time of year.
What food and drink can you get at Bents?
The cosy cafe inside Bents makes any day out that bit warmer, with seasonal menus, hot and cold drinks and cake and sweet treats to die for. What’s more, when the festive season comes around, you can expect more soup, cinnamon spiced goods and warming hot chocolates than you can shake a stick at – yum!
Bents Winter Food Market

Once Bents is in full Christmas mode, their incredible Winter Food Market out in the garden centre space will also made a welcome return. Choose from Christmas classics including bratwurst, mince pies and mulled wine to enjoy whilst you rest and recharge after filling your boots with pressies and twinkle lights.
New last year was the Festive Terrace – a twinkling extension to the Winter Food Market, where you’ll find Bents’ style fish and chips or freshly made Bents’ pizzas.
