The Gourmet Mutation was added to Grow a Garden on October 4, 2025, as part of the Chubby Chipmunk update. It’s a mutation combo that’s tied to three other mutations, so here’s everything you need to know about this mutation. Such as how to get it and what it does!
How to Get the Gourmet Mutation in Grow a Garden
Before you can get the Gourmet Mutation, you’ll need to know how to get the Aromatic, Spaghetti, and Sizzled Mutations. This is because you have to combine these three on a crop in your garden to make the Gourmet Mutation. Here’s everything you need to know about getting them:
The Aromatic Mutation is tied to two different methods that are a little tough if you weren’t around for the Kitchen Storm Update. There was a limited-time Kitchen Storm event, which is no longer available. But if you have a Pet Shard Aromatic item or a pet with the Aromatic Mutation, they can still apply it. The Spaghetti Mutation is a combination of three different mutations. You’ll need to get Sauce, Pasta, and Meatball, which all require having a Spaghetti Sloth pet. The Sizzled Mutation is a combination of two mutations. You’ll need to get the Cooked Mutation from a Cooked Owl pet. And then the Fried Mutation from either the Fried Chicken Event or a pet with the Fried Mutation via a Pet Shard Fried item. While it doesn’t matter what order you get each mutation on your plant, once they’re both on it, they’ll combine to make Gourmet. Another one that requires a combination is the Clay Mutation. What Does the Gourmet Mutation Do?
Like all mutations, Gourmet adds a value multiplier to your crops. It seems to increase the profits of your crop when selling it by 37x. This makes it an okay multiplier, but far from the best ones you can get.
