PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (CBS12) — Police released new details on Wednesday after the bodies of a man and a woman were found inside a Palm Beach Gardens home.

The Palm Beach Gardens Police Department (PBGPD) said on Oct. 7 at around 1 p.m., officers responded to a welfare check at a home on 17th Lane, off Garden Lakes Circle. Upon entering the residence, police found a man and a woman dead inside.

Police identified the bodies on Wednesday as Kaleb J. Perales, 37, and his mother, Brenda L. Nogle, 60. Investigators believe the incident was a murder-suicide, though the case remains active and under investigation.

The investigation is active and ongoing, according to the news release. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to call the PBGPD at 561-799-4445.
