Variegated Anthurium at HD?


Is this variegation or pest? Also has an interested texture versus a smooth leaf but I don’t think it is from pest.

    Sometimes the variegated anthuriums will have funky crinkly leaves and yes it’s blister variegation, lucky find

    Honestly, this screams virus to me. I, personally, do not trust it. But I’ve been out of the plant game for some time and perhaps this is a new….weird….thing

    I agree with other comments that it looks like blister variegation. I have an anthurium, different species than this one, with blister variegation and the leaves do have a different texture.

    I’ve seen a few videos of this specific one popping up at Home Depots.
