i was growing this pothos for a while in a small jar filled with water. it stopped sprouting new leaves for a decent bit, so i decided it was time to move it into soil. I transplanted it about three weeks ago, and since then, the plant hasnt grown at all nor has it sprouted new leaves.

i cant give it direct sunlight just due to the position of my room, but ive been watering it daily (maybe less consistently), yet it still jsnt growing. can yall help me figure this out?

Overwatering can cause your photos to stop growing, and then possibly lead to death. Can cause root rot , and that damages roots, and stops them from being able to uptake water and nutrients. You only have to water your pothos when the the top inch or 2 is dry to the touch.

That soil looks very dense. It’s a huge pot. Daily water is too much in any situation. If you’re in the northern hemisphere, it’s fall so no longer the growing season.

Get a way smaller pot, chunkier soil (at least 50/50 soil/perlite), stop watering daily (aside from adjusting the water roots, only drench her once the soil is dry) and get her a grow light if your light situation is not ideal.

It’s doing all of its work under the soil. Once the root system gets going it will push out foliage. Others have said to put it in a smaller pot. If you are vigilant about not overwatering it’ll probably be okay. Things will move more quickly if you do repot to smaller.

Side note, it can’t climb up that pole.
