PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (CBS12) — Two people were found dead inside a home in Palm Beach Gardens on Tuesday afternoon.
The Palm Beach Gardens Police Department (PBGPD) said the deaths of the two people were discovered in the Garden Lakes community of Palm Beach Gardens.
According to a statement from the Public Information Officer for the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department, Major Javier Garcia, officers responded to a welfare check at around 1 p.m. on 17th Lane, off Garden Lakes Circle. Upon entering the residence, police found a man and a woman dead inside.
Photos taken at the scene show police tape on one of the homes.
The circumstances surrounding the deaths remain under investigation. Detectives are actively working the case, but officials have stated there is no threat to the community at this time.
