Half of these I rescued from bad stores and had to treat them MULTIPLE times for mold in their roots. It’s a literal miracle that they’re flowering again. I feel so excited and proud because I’ve worked so hard!!

  1. This one might have one spike growing, the rest appear to be much needed new roots.
Edit- I didn’t realize there were more photos- so jealous of the spikes! Only been able to get one rebloom so far.

I guess I didn’t explain! I have 6 different orchids sending off spikes. 7 spikes total since one of them is reblooming off both old spikes. I do not mean the first one has 6 spikes lmfao

Amazing work 🤝 It’s always so rewarding to rescue a plant with hidden potential

Congrats!!!! New growth is always so exciting especially after waiting such a long time. 🌸

Those are air roots. They’re not flower spikes. Flower spikes grow from between the leaves, not from the base of the plant and sometimes even they grow from between the leaves.

  7. Thanks for inspiring me to fight the good fight against mold. I just treated a mini phal last week and I already need to pull it out and repot, ugh. You did an amazing job! I’m glad your orchids are gracing you with a show of appreciation.

On the up shot of store rescues, “but it will die if I don’t take it home 😢” is always a valid justification for *just one more*….

Congrats!! I do want to say a couple of them need some more rehab before they will be healthy enough to bloom though. Specifically #2 & #3
