Stole a creeping jenny from The Wild and placed it in my lil jar, and has since sprouted oddly tall for something thats a ground cover?

How much sunlight does it get? It might need more light. If it’s supposed to get FULL light, then having it in a glass jar would not be optimal, as the glass still causes that to me FILTERED light. It looks leggy, and I know thats how plants will get when they are reaching for sunlight

Eduated. That just tends to happen jars. Try to give it as much light as humanly possible

I love creeping Jenny cuz it grows everywhere. In water, under water, above water and on land. But it’s not a ground cover in that sense, more a hanging vine.

Also consider seasons. With fall making itself known, plants do their thing.

I have Jenny currently growing in these 2 setups. Left it’s partially submerged and on the right it’s breaching the lid.

The latter is over 3 years old and I planted Jenny fully submerged.

This is north east facing window, so they get about half an hour of direct sunlight, rest indirect.

I had Jenny grow in closed jars for years too. As long as there’s enough nutrients and moderate lightning, it should be fine.

It does best in water tho. Very pretty when it creeps above the water surface.
