I was looking through my photos and found this pic of a massive jade plant I took in May at a greenhouse. That’s a five gallon bucket next to it. This place babysits plants for people when they go on vacation and I think they also “inherit” amazing plants from elderly people whose kids can’t take care of them. As you can see in the photo, the pot its in is actually pretty small and is nesting inside a larger one. This jade is not for sale, as well as some other big plants I saw there, like a variegated citrus tree.

Nice! I inherited a large jade plant which currently lives in my office. It’s a beast but probably a shade smaller than that one. Jade plants somehow look dignified when they get old?!
