  1. Good to know! Therefore we should only eat organic sunflower seeds, cabbages, mustard greens and all bioaccumulators.

  2. Oh thats cool, i always lived sunflowers because they soak up radiation but i didnt know the rest! Definitely want to try to plant some 🌻

  3. 😱 but i feed my sunflowers to the chickens… so they’re eating concentrated contaminants? 😫

  4. Would that also mean that sunflowers / mustard greens / cabbage grown in a bed would extra-deplete that bed of nutrients before next growing season?

  5. The wind cut you off…so what happens to all the bad stuff the sunflowers take out of the soil? Is it safe to eat them?

  6. Uh…based on the comments, this didn't go well, haha. Now everyone is scared to eat their food or feed it to their chickens. Maybe you need to clarify.

  7. Remedial = remedy
Remedial math = you didn't learn math well enough in the past, so this class is intended to fix that and get you up to the expected level. Remediation of soil would mean fixing whatever ails it

  8. This is why you should never buy carrots. They are grown between rows in farming to get rid of the spray that kills all the microbes in the dirt. ONLY BUY ORGANIC CARROTS

  9. We feed a hand full of sunflower seed to the horses daily. You should see the mountain of sunflowers we have in the spring. I was not aware they would grow in green manure

  10. Yes grew them last year. Unfortunately I was not aware that they will also give off a chemical in their roots so that they are thriving while your other plants are not. Cleaned up my soul last year, and had beautiful crops this year.

  11. Where I live, plant material is sent to recycle, not landfill, then is turned into compost. Then people buy it and put it in their gardens. Doesn't that just move the heavy metals to someone else's soil?
