I got this plant from somewhere in this condition about a week back and I want to help it! Should I cut off the leaves and flowers with the brown black spots?
Currently I am keeping it indoors with indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight once a week. Watering it when the soil seems dry or once in 3-4 days!

I don’t have tips just popping in to say I believe this is a flamingo lily (Anthurium andraeanum) and not a peace lily 🙂
What medium are you using are the rocks on top just decorative?
That’s not a peace lily.
Keep in mind that plants adjust to things much slower than people do. Moving it into direct sunlight once a week is like putting your kid in the oven for a few minutes to get them warm. Lol they need time to adjust to increasing levels of light or they will burn.
it’s an anthurium and you’re overwatering it (watering way too often). more than the top of the soil needs to feel dry; i’d say like 50%. it’ll probably need to be watered once a week AT MOST, but you’ll probably find that it can go longer. also, pour out the excess water at the bottom. how close is it to the light? “indirect” is not enough info. if it’s far away from the window, the light is very weak even if it looks bright. not sure what you mean by “direct sunlight” once a week, but i hope you don’t mean you’re taking it outside.
also yes, i’d cut the brown leaves and flowers where they meet the base of the plant.
I didn’t know you could use m&ms in their pot
Don’t water it every day in small amounts. Water it once a week a soak the fuck out of it. Make sure it has drainage or the roots will rot. Also adding a little plant food. Indirect sunlight.
Salvageable.
This is an anthurium not a peace lily. I would recommend always having it in indirect bright light. Water when the soil feels dry a few inches from the top, but it’s better to get a moisture meter to avoid overwatering. 3-4 days seems like too often based on how often I water mine, but it depends on ur soil medium. Always underwater rather than over. I would cut back dying blossoms and browning leaves for aesthetic and health purposes. Def cut back any dying dead crispy pieces
Water much less often and very heavily when you do, leaving plenty of time to dry between watering, like a week or even 2 depending on your soil. Also I’m not sure the Reece’s Pieces are helping, I’d try a balanced NPK liquid fertiliser to mix in with the water instead
I don’t know about everyone else, but I’ve found that miniature M&M’s don’t make the best plant food….
That’s… that’s not peace lily
A new owner 🤣🤣🤣
That’s an anhturium like some others said! These guys are tropical plants but don’t demand a lot of water, during colder months mine needs water every 7-10 days at most. You’re setting it up for root rot if you water every 3-4 days. Water it very thourougly, until water comes out of the pot holes and then empty out the saucer so it doesn’t get wet feet
And yes, I’d cut any obviously damaged leaves, they won’t recover and they’re just sucking energy away from the plant. Anthurium’s can grow rather quickly so you’ll have new healthy leaves pretty soon. Misting is also a good idea, they like humidity
Try giving it some more M&Ms
Keep water of leaves, never touch a bloom, it needs feeding and repoting in good compost for indoor plants.
