So my plant is growing on the top still and looks great but the bottom half turned the tips brown and crispy. I changed the soil and also flushed it. I just got a new light for it just in case but still confused.

    Well you need to water on a schedule it helps the leaves the same size and they grow more uniform

    Remove damaged leaves they won’t come back
    Personally I’m a fan of chop it down start over.
    You could choose to just do a top chop utube a video on how to.

    Light. The light being overhead only feeds the leaves it’s shining on, not those below. So those leaves aren’t able to properly photosynthesize. You need an additional growlight shining lower on the canopy to retain those leaves
