In itself I suspect that this causes a little bit.
But is it strong enough for me to take more drastic solutions?

The fact is that moving a paludarium of this size is quite complicated or putting it at a height.
But I'm looking for solutions so that my shrimp crabs and future gecko aren't stressed all day either.

He can easily spend 4 to 5 hours a day in front.

For reference it is a paludarium of 45x45x90

these pictures are cute. I feel stress relief :>

but I don’t think the cat would be a direct cause of overly harmful stress, as long as he’s not constantly pawing on the glass. also if your gecko escapes he may be done for as cats can be natural predators to them. but if there’s adequate space and hiding spots I think it would be fine. I also don’t know if geckos can sense a predator, but I would maybe just keep the cat out the room if it’s possible. watch gecko for tail dropping and nervous behavior.

Should be fine unless the cat swats at the glass 🙂
But put that air tube inside the tank or remove it, or you risk emptying the water onto the floor. They can without warning reverse and push water out instead of sucking air in.

Never been a huge fan of keep morning geckos in paladariums. They would also likely eat the baby vampire crabs.

Our leopard geckos were close to the ground and we had a bunch of puppies and dogs running around all the time. The geckos acclimated to it very quickly and their behavior was completely normal from my observations. I think that it will be just fine. I’d worry about checking every little opening on the paludarium (where wires go in and out) because morning geckos are tiny and will have even smaller babies.

Not geckos but i have two frogs and my cat was constantly staring at them and lightly bumping his paws up against the glass and the frogs didn’t care at all. I guess it depends on the individual

For real, this is so precious!
If you want to add some extra plant cover or a hiding space for your peace of mind you could do that, but kitty just seems really sweet 🙂

I have mourning geckos and what scares me the most is the water more than the cat itself.

I have a bunch and they mostly don’t care about the cat. The more assholish ones chill on the glass and provoke the cat, just one will run away if the cats punches the glass but she runs when I open it so she’s generally skittish
