Hi folks, thought I'd show off my modest garden.
I didn't and don't know anything about gardening really. I made a lot of mistakes, but I've learned a lot and worked hard.
My strawberry plants all died. Sunflowers never really took off. Weeds in the patio slabs are a constant struggle. Blueberry bushes are far too exposed. I snapped a fence post attaching a trellis. Loads of things died. I should probably have planned the layout a little better. Overdid things and underdid things.
But,
I learned how to lay a shed base. Ate blueberries I grew myself. Started a nice hedge. Don't need to buy herbs anymore. Made bouquets of flowers. Planted a tree. Planned what should be a great Spring display.
As you can tell there's a lot needs doing still, but I'm pleased with the progress so far. Thanks to this sub Reddit as well, lurking/posting here has proven invaluable.
I'll be happy if I never have to dig out another border again 😂
