Looks great I hope it stays strong. My lawn is in similar condition and I am doing an overseed next Thursday. šŸ¤žšŸ¤žšŸ¤ž

Pic 1 looks like the lawn is more than 50% is common Bermuda. That will probably turn brown when it goes dormant over the winter.

Removing common Bermuda is a bitch.

Looks good Did you dethatch and aerate before overseeing?

The lawn looks beautiful! Kudos to your hard work! Did you dethatch all of that dead grass to the soil?asking because I left some patches and I don’t know if grass seed would grow or water would penetrate. Thank you

I just bought a house in Mid Missouri with the same bare spots as you. I don’t know much about lawn care so I was wonders if you had to do any tilling or scraping before overseeding?
