I’ve been saving these coffee grounds in my freezer. It is about 2 gall. So, let’s use it to fertilize the garden. I start off with all plants that are specifically leafy greens. So, that goes for my herbs and any of my lettucees. Coffee grounds add nitrogen back into the soil. You can save your own. I save mine for my K cups and I keep them in a gallon size freezer bag. And this time I waited until I filled two freezer bags. I let them thaw. Now I’m using them to fertilize the plants. You can also get free coffee grounds from any coffee shop. You just have to call them the day before and ask them to save them for you for the morning and they’ll save them and you can go pick them up for free. I noticed this bag looks a lot better than these containers and it’s because I haven’t fertilized them sometimes. So, it’s definitely time to give my plants a natural boost so that they can continue doing what they do. This is a broccoli plant that I transplanted a couple weeks ago and it’s looking [Music] amazing. Nothing goes to waste when you have a garden.

be careful not to make soil too acidic with too many coffee ground.. however acidic soil plants like beets do well when fertilized with coffee grinds
