Rule #1 in bonsai – junipers need to be kept outside. We don’t care what anyone told you about it being indoors, we see a juniper inside and immediately tell the person to take it out.
Next up, don’t immediately work on a tree you just bought. Let it adjust. Learn to keep it alive by knowing how to water it properly. Make sure those rocks aren’t glued on. It’s best to remove them anyway so you can know when the soil is dry.
This tree is really young so there’s not much you can do other than simply letting it grow.
