The band “The Perfect Strangers” played on the “Backstage” at the Webster Groves Garden Cafe to an audience of roughly 350 to 400 people during a farewell concert on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Cafe owners Gary and Mandy Schoenberger estimated the show drew the largest crowd for a music performance during the cafe’s eight-year run.
The World Peace Concert, which featured several performers and bands, was held at the cafe on Sunday, Sept. 28. It also drew a sizable crowd of roughly 150 people. The Webster Groves Garden Cafe, which has served as a mecca of sorts for musicians over the years, closed its doors earlier this week.
