CANTON, N.C. (WLOS) — The Ten Acre Garden is offering some fall fun with weekend fall foliage hay wagon farm tours.

FALL FOLIAGE TIMING AND TINT DEPEND ON OCTOBER TEMPERATURES

Ten Acre Garden’s wagon tours are not only scenic, but also educational.

Owner of Ten Acre Garden, Mark Davies, says the wagon tours give people a chance to see the area from a farmer’s perspective.

“It’s harder than it looks. It’s really hard to grow food. And, you should definitely respect any and all farmers that are trying to grow food for people, no matter how they do it,” Davies said.

The hay rides take place every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. during October.
