Used to able to run 2 heads due to low psi & gpm at house but after installing this pump I am able to irrigate with 3-4 Rainbird 5000’s at a time. 🕺🏾

Awesome! I’m having this same issue. What’s the pump you used?

Is the pump just pulling more water through the system? Wouldn’t you still be limited by the amount of water capable of going through your pipes pre-pump?

Very nice, I looked into doing this and after seeing how well yours works I might have to now

What’s your psi from the house bib? I simply run my hoses one at a time but I wish I had more pressure so it would spray further. My psi is like 40 early mornings and drops to like 35 during the day. I don’t like my house in general because how low the pressure from the town is.

Do you go out and manually turn the pump on and off. Or do you have it set on some sort of outlet timer?

Looks great. I have a few sprinklers on spike as well but ive been debating improving the system next year with a few swing joints so i can bury them to some extent

I did something similar but I used a 50 gallon rain barrel as the supply. Set up with a mechanical auto fill valve to keep it topped off while running the sprinkler pump. Running to 3 Otto sprinklers.
I’m on city water with decent pressure but it couldn’t keep up with the pump, kept cavitating.

Interesting, several years ago I started renovating my 5 acre lawn, one acre at a time. The front acre is 700 feet from my house and was looking for something similar because there was a few times I really needed to water. When inquired most people said there wasn’t really a way to do it
