So this is my first ever tissue culture. It’s a Alocasia Variegated Ninja! From OrangeLakeNursery.
It’s not looking too hot is it?? It was in transit for 8 days. I deflasked it, washing all the agar off via sink stream, let it soak in a hydrogen peroxide/water solution for 5 minutes, dipped roots in Bonide Rooting Powder, & then placed in a 50/50 perlite stratum mix inside a self watering cup. I keep her in a grow cabinet, under Barrina T5 Lights. 7 feet away from a southwest facing window.
My theory is I may have suffocated the roots with too much powder maybe?? I’m not sure what to do to possibly safe this tissue culture. Should I take it out & resoak it in an anti-fungal solution & repot it?? Please any advice is appreciated!! (The last slide is how it currently looks)

honestly i dont see anything wrong with it. give a few more days to perk up? just watch it from the outside, do not open your dome for at least a week.
the exposed roots look just fine
Idk much about TC but that little guy was just put through the ringer. give it some time as its prob in shock from change in atmosphere and handling! even of the leaf doesnt make it the roots look fabulous. as long as the roots stay white you’ll be ok
If it is a TC plant then you took it out too early
I took my TC plant out after 2 weeks and also made holes in it before putting it in a box
Did you wait a week before deflasking?
This is what my 3 TC plant has become 2 pieces Florida byuty 1 alocasia Polly varigata
