Padmaja Thomas of the Chino Hills Gardening Club looks over plants at a garden event held at Cinnamon Park in Chino Hills last Sunday. The gardening club is an online community where residents gather at various parks for sharing, trading, or giving away plants and seeds. Taylor Winkler of Chino Hills, who heads the community, said she was excited about the turnout. “It was a great experience bonding and chatting over plants,” she said. “It is so cool to see new faces at each one of these events.”
