I’m sharing my White’s tree frog enclosure to see if there’s anything I could improve or add! This is my second bioactive setup, and everything inside is 100% natural. Live plants, real wood, and a thick layer of leaf litter. I’ve introduced isopods and springtails to handle waste and decomposition, keeping the ecosystem balanced.
The frogs have plenty of climbing opportunities and hiding spots among the plants, wood, and leaf litter. For hydration, I’ve set up a full waterfall system that flows into a central river area, plus a custom misting system to maintain humidity and keep them comfortable.
I don’t have UVB lighting yet, so I’ve been dusting their food with calcium powder in the meantime. The enclosure stays within ideal temperature and humidity ranges, and I’ve added lighting to support healthy plant growth.
I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions on what I might still be missing or could upgrade to make the setup even better!

I think it looks pretty good!
I think the large piece of wood coming out and towards the top is a great piece, it really shows you’re about the frogs habitat vs visual appeal and that appeals in itself!
Out of curiosity, do the uva uvb in reef lights do the same as the old uvb bulbs, like incandescent, etc we used back in the day?
oh my god this is gorgeous
One of those green froggy suction cup dishes would look sick!
