Evo Mushroom is a unique seed that was introduced to Grow a Garden on September 27, 2025, as part of the Seed Stages Update. If you’re looking to add this crop to your garden, I’ve put together a guide on everything you need to know about how to get it and more.

How to Get Evo Mushroom in Grow a Garden

Evo Mushroom is a limited-time seed added in the Seed Stages Update. Instead of buying it from a Seed Stall or even getting it in a seed pack, you can only get it from the Seed Stages NPC, Samuel. During the Seed Stages event, they’re near the center of the island.

After speaking with Samuel, you can pick the dialogue choice, “Show me the Stage 1 Seeds!” This will reveal a shop where you can buy Stage 1 Evo seeds that restock every five minutes. Due to each seed’s rarity, they won’t always be in stock, similar to other stalls. With that said, you can buy an Evo Mushroom I seed for 850,000 Sheckles.

In order to get a higher-tier/stage Evo Mushroom seed, you’ll need to start with a Stage 1 seed first. After growing it in your garden, you can then exchange the crop with the NPC Samuel to upgrade it. You’ll get the next Stage seed, all the way up to four.

Unfortunately, the four Evo Seeds released at the start of the Seed Stages event are all single-harvest plants except for the fourth stage of each one. And since they’re part of an event, they likely aren’t eligible for Lucky Harvests or getting them from pets with special abilities. Such as the Red Fox, which can duplicate certain seeds from other players’ gardens. Dogs won’t work either, since the random seeds they can dig up don’t include event seeds.
