First harvest of Japanese Wasabi Radishes from our spring garden. This was my first time growing this variety, and they were much larger than I expected! Not only was the bulb large, but the amount of greens reminded me more of purple top turnips!
Grown here on our East TN farm. Direct seeded in mid-April and harvested last week of May.
What a beautiful late May day out here in the garden. You’ve been seeing me pull my purple plum radishes. Well, they’re almost done. Check this out. The Japanese wasabi radishes are ready to pull. Look at this thing. Let’s see what it looks like. Oh, he’s down in there good. Oh, look at that radish.
