Fairfield County deputies are warning residents to avoid Garden and West Washington streets as they search for three armed suspects tied to a shooting.
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies in Fairfield County are searching for three people in connection with a shooting investigation and are warning residents to avoid the area.
The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office said they are searching for three male suspects they believe were involved in a shooting on Friday morning in the area of Garden and West Washington streets.

When deputies attempted to stop a vehicle reportedly tied to the suspects, officials said they left the vehicle and ran. The sheriff’s office said the suspects were last seen armed, and deputies are now searching the area with the help of K-9 officers. They asked residents to avoid the area until further notice.
Additionally, the sheriff’s office urged anyone with information about the shooting and incidents to call them immediately.
