The third 2025 game drop for Minecraft, titled The Copper Age, has been unveiled and is set to bring several brand new uses for Copper in-game.

The Copper Age Release Date
No official date has been announced for the release of The Copper Age game drop, but it is scheduled to arrive sometime later in 2025.
The Copper Age DetailsCopper Golem and Statue
The Copper Golem can be summoned by placing a carved pumpkin on top of a copper block, and is extremely capable at organization. When you spawn in a Copper Golem, a copper chest will appear alongside it. You can then place an item into the chest and the Golem will sort it into other chests by finding matching items.
As with other Copper objects, the Golem will oxidize over time and eventually freeze in place, turning into a statue. These statues can be posed in one of four poses. Also like other Copper items, you can use an axe to “rewake” your Golem, and wax can be applied to prevent future oxidization.
Copper Tools
A complete set of Copper tools will be available, including:

Copper tools are more durable and strong than Stone, but less effective than Iron. Not just tools however! You can also create a full set of Copper armor, and even make Copper horse armor!
Decorative Copper Blocks

The Shelf is a new block that can display up to 3 items at once, and several shelves can be connected together to have an extensive display wall. You can also use Shelf blocks to swap out your hotbar, and if you power up a row of shelves using redstone you’ll have the ability to swap up to 9 items at once!
New Dye Art
The art icons for the numerous Dyes in-game have received a visual update to help make them easier to identify. Each Dye now has a unique shape!
