leave as it or chop?

this is another guy that was gifted to me about a year ago from a neighbor bc it wasn't doing well. you can see the bottom half doesn't look great but it THRIVED this summer outside and grew so much and you can see the top half is much healthier. should i leave it as is? or would you chop off the top healthy part and prop? appreciate any help or advice as i learn how to care for these guys 🙂 thank you!
