… And it was the first succulent I've ever had where I cared about stress colors or even sufficient lightning. 😅

But she fell victim to The Great Mealie Infestation of -23. I've since been looking for a new Orion, but living in Sweden, we don't have stores keeping a huge collection of Echeveria's, so it's been hard.

Today I was at Lidl, and a few years ago they used to sell rare (for Sweden) succulents, so of course I took a look today. And there she was. The most perfect Orion I've ever seen. I just knew I had to have her. So I lifted her up and looked between the leaves for SIGNS of mealiebugs. I didn't just find signs. I found a whole damn colony of those fuckers.

Needless to say, I didn't bring her home. I've just been thinking about her since it happened and I just really wanted to vent to people who might understand me. 😅
