Seeking advice!

I rescued this fiddle from my office building when they were moving and getting rid of a ton of plants. It was pruned heavily before I got it, likely so it could be surrounded by smaller plants. I've had it for 4 months and it has definitely lost leaves since bringing it home. It dropped a ton in the first 2 months and has put out a few new leaves, but not enough to compensate for the lost leaves.

I'm willing to chop and give it a fresh start.

Where should I chop it? What else should I be doing to revive this plant? This window gets the most light but I do have a 4' grow light I can dedicate (it just doesn't do much with how tall this currently is).

  1. I’m in the same boat with one of my figs…

Yes id chop each branch to about 6”. I’d also repot in a larger terracotta pot. Be careful with the roots.
