I just got my first Alocasia today, it's an Alocasia Polly. Rescued from my local plant store where she was half price. Store said she just needs a bit of extra care which they hadn't been able to give her hence the spots on her leaves. She has 4 leaves which all have some spotting, some more than others. Leaf 1 is a bit floppy but the rest feel healthy.

I'm after some advice on whether this is lack of humidity or too much exposure to direct sun? Or if this is something more serious like a fungus?

What care tips di you have to get my new baby flourish?

Probably just inconsistent watering. Drying out too much in between waterings. Just water correctly and the new leaves will be fine. If you really want it to take off, I’d swap to Pon substrate in a semi-hydro set up.
