A garden party will be held on Thursday, October 9 from 12.30pm to 2pm at the Community Centre, hosted by the Pyramid Hill Neighbourhood House.
Jimmy Johnson is billed to perform alongside a barbecue lunch, and attendees are asked to bring a plant to swap with other guests.
The event is supported by Loddon Shire Council as part of its larger festival, which includes activities in Wedderburn and Boort.
Mayor Dan Straub said the annual festival was a special opportunity to recognise the contributions of senior residents to the life, spirit and history of communities.
“This year’s statewide theme, ‘Connect, Create, Celebrate’, invites us to come together, share experiences, try something new, and enjoy the company of friends old and new,” he said.
“I encourage everyone to get involved, attend an event or two, and take this opportunity to connect, create and celebrate together.”
To attend the garden party, phone the Pyramid Hill Neighbourhood House on 5455 7129.
