    That’s about 5 days of profits, just to put the amount into perspective. You could expect a US grant program to have a budget like that to spread among 20-50 projects, and McD’s can fund it with five days of profits. This stresses the importance of corporate investment.

    McDonalds is not dumb. I don’t doubt that they may see something that greatly benefits their own supply chain. They control a lot of beef trade, this very well could be their own long game. They are first and foremost a real estate company, making better more cost efficient use of their land or lands that supply them may have green benefits, but likely is about their bottom line.

    Lots of opportunities in the pasture and grazing space for this. Regenerative potato growing sounds a lot more difficult.
