I have a lot of alocasias I grow in different media, but I don’t have one with this much variegation. I’d love to add it to my collection, but it having so much white makes me nervous. I know with monsteras, that much white can be a death sentence. Does the same apply here? I’d hate to spend $70 just to have it die

  1. It’s risky. It may start putting out more green, but at the ratio it’s currently sitting at, you’re looking at a very slow death over several months as the small amount of green in new leaves is not enough to feed all the white. The corm eventually become exhausted
