Debating between attempting to repair the wall or tear it down and slope the yard. If it does get torn down I would like to find a new use for the bricks.
Tbh I don’t think much retaining is happening. Have you had a good look at this during and after heavy rains? I’d feel good about removing the bricks, adding some soil to even the slope, and overseeding or using the gap where the bricks were as a line for mulch, then doing a planting bed in front or behind it. There are tons of brick projects from ventilating walls to flooring projects to tables to planter beds of many shapes to bug houses & more. Won’t know until you see how many bricks you have. Call 811 before you dig.
